Dream: A Psychic Power?

How often did you wish that you had psychic abilities? Most people would say that they have been wanting it forever. Well, good news because looks like we’ve always had the visionary psychic ability to foresee the future.

As the imagination grows even stronger, so do our psychic
 powers. It is the imaginative mind which holds them.

Dream has always been a really important and interesting concept for the scientists and philosophers. Some people believe that dreams have psychic powers and can reveal hidden truths about the future or a person's subconscious. Scientists have been trying to find out the meaning and causes behind our dreams since ages. Also there are different reasons why our dreams keep changing from good to bad from time to time. Trauma, physical or mental illness have a great impact on our dreams. Although we already know from Sigmund Freud’s well established theory of dreams that our dreams often represent our unconscious desires, thoughts and suppressed wishes, another group of scientists are trying to find if our dreams hold any hint for our future.

They say that right before we die our whole life flashes before us-
a medley of our own personal greatest hits. Well then, we must be
about to live, because events that haven’t happened yet are constantly
pushing themselves into our head.


After years of research, a certain amount of evidence has been found by the scientists that some of our dreams may predict the future. Studies show that 17.8% to 38% of people have experienced at least one precognitive or premonition dream. Dreams that can seemingly predict the future are called premonition dream. Although there are certain criteria that the dream must meet to be classified as a premonition dream, it’s a huge breakthrough for the psychic community.


In conclusion, while the concept of dreams having psychic abilities is still considered to be a matter of speculation, there is no denying that dreams have the potential to reveal valuable information and insights that can help individuals understand themselves and the world around them better. Whether or not dreams actually have psychic abilities is still up for debate, but the experiences of those who claim to have received psychic messages through their dreams cannot be ignored.
